Lowenstein Sandler Further Strengthens Venture Funds Launch Group with Addition of Partner Hila Cohen

National law firm Lowenstein Sandler announced today that Hila Cohen has joined as a partner in its Venture Funds Launch Group. Based in New York, Cohen will work closely with lawyers in the firm's Investment Management & Private Funds and Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) groups to advise venture fund sponsors on fund formation, fundraising, regulatory considerations, and business-building strategies. She has a particular focus on helping emerging managers launch investment advisory firms and flagship funds.

Cohen's experience includes not only venture fund launches and capital formation, but also significant operational, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as management arrangements, profit-sharing programs, and succession planning.

Cohen was previously a partner at Morrison Foerster. She earned her J.D. from McGill University, and is admitted to the bar in New York and California. She also has a M.S. and B.S. from Yeshiva University.
