NCUA Seeks Comment on Enhancing and Streamlining Data Collection

The NCUA has announced a Request for Information (RFI) to find ways to improve and simplify how it collects data. The NCUA is asking credit unions to share their ideas about the information collected in the 5300 Call Report, the 5310 Corporate Call Report, and Form 4501A Profile.

These reports give the NCUA important information about a credit union's financial health, changes in management, payment systems, designation status, and other key details. As the NCUA works to make reporting easier and reduce paperwork, it is asking for feedback on how to improve the reporting process.
