Clinton Street Closure Scheduled for Friday, June 12 for Crane Access

JOLIET, Ill. - Clinton Street will be closed to through traffic between Chicago Street and the exit to the Scott Street Parking Deck on Friday, June 12, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate crane operations at 22 E. Clinton Street.

During the closure, the Scott Street Parking Deck exit will remain open and accessible to ensure continued access for motorists utilizing the facility.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow safe crane access to the roof of the building at 22 E. Clinton Street. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow for additional travel time in the area.

Signage and traffic control measures will be in place to guide drivers and ensure pedestrian and vehicle safety throughout the duration of the closure. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume following completion of the work.
