Happy Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month! We're honored to display the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month flag outside City Hall in May.
In accordance with the City of Fremont's Flag Display Administrative Regulation, all U.S. flags at City facilities will be at half-staff on May 3, 2026, for the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. The Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month flag will be restored outside on May 4 at 8:00 am.
The Fremont City Council adopted a ceremonial flag policy to commemorate special observances. The policy sets clear criteria for selecting ceremonial flags and establishes a yearly rotation of observances. For more information and to view the flag raising schedule, please visit our webpage.
