On Thursday, November 6, another lunch-and-learn (lunch provided) is scheduled for noon in conference room A/B in the Alumni Student Center. The event features Emi Aguilar, a Coahuiltecan Arts Educator, community organizer, and multidisciplinary artist based among the Coahuiltecan homelands where her people have resided for over 14,000 years.
The campus and surrounding community are invited to hear from these influential local leaders who are educating others about the history and traditions of indigenous cultures. All events are free and open to the public.
