On 30 October 2025, Ms. Jirasaya Birananda, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., together with officials of Team Thailand in Vientiane, Lao PDR and their spouses, paid tribute, observed a 93-second moment of silence before the royal portrait, and signed the Book of Condolence on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Thai Ambassador's Residence in Vientiane.
