Pearl City - From October 20 through November 3, voter service centers will be open to provide in-person election services, including voter registration and accessible voting. To beat the long lines on November 3, officials urge voters to take advantage of the opportunity to vote early.
In addition to the candidate contests, voters will also consider several proposed amendments to the Hawaii State Constitution and County Charters. Oahu voters should be aware that their ballot includes 20 Charter Amendment questions alone.
Chief Election Officer Scott Nago encouraged voters to prepare before arriving at the voter service centers, "Turn to our Voter Guide at elections.hawaii.gov, where you can review your sample ballot and read explanations of the ballot questions. A little prep can make your visit, and in turn your neighbors' visits, a quicker and more efficient experience."
