NEOMED faculty, staff and students are invited to explore the University Hospitals CRC Mobile Research Unit (MRU) as part of the celebration of Translational Science Week, Sept. 15-19.
The Mobile Research Unit will be on campus Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Parking Lot B at NEOMED.
The 39-foot MRU features two private exam rooms, a laboratory processing center, refrigerators and freezers for IP/medications and specimens, and several other features to provide necessary resources to conduct research in under-served communities. It is the first resource of its kind in Northeast Ohio dedicated to clinical research.
Additionally (and probably most importantly), members of the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) can apply for either Core Utilization Pilots and/or Vouchers through the CTSC to help pay for access to utilize the MRU (depending on their individual needs). CTSC membership is free for all NEOMED faculty, staff and students!!
Also on Tuesday, Sept. 15, NEOMED will host a luncheon to share CTSC resources and connect with new partners. Register for the luncheon at NEOMED.
Translational Science Week event will explore opportunities in biomedical research
