FedEx collaborates with UADE to help prepare the next generation of international trade professionals

FedEx, the world's largest express transportation company, is joining the Partners in Learning program at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and the private sector through hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for the challenges of the global marketplace.

Through this collaboration, FedEx and UADE will develop a yearly curriculum of academic activities, including lectures, real-world case studies, and opportunities for engagement with industry professionals. The program will focus on key topics such as international logistics, e-commerce trends, the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on supply chains, and tools to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) access international markets.

"At FedEx, supporting the next generation of business leaders is part of our purpose and reflects our commitment to building a smarter, more connected future. We are committed to helping prepare future industry professionals by equipping them with the tools they need to take their ideas beyond local borders," said Hernán Giacoboni, senior finance manager for the Andean Region and the South Cone at FedEx. As the first initiative within the program, FedEx executives led an inaugural session, kicking off a series of learning opportunities for students in UADE's International Trade career.

"This collaboration with FedEx strengthens our academic offering by connecting students with the real-world experience and expertise of a global industry leader and gives them firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping international trade and global business," said Julio Martínez, director of the International Trade career at UADE.

The agreement provides an opportunity to bring private-sector expertise into the classroom and help the next generation develop the skills needed to succeed in the future of international trade. By joining the program, FedEx reaffirms its commitment to developing talent and creating opportunities for the next generation.
