Lewisville Animal Shelter "Pet of the Week" - Eevee

In an effort to spread the word about animal adoption and to help these loving animals find fur-ever homes, the City of Lewisville will feature a Pet of the Week each week in this media packet, available for adoption at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 995 E. Valley Ridge.

This week's featured pet is Eevee, a 9-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat. She is a very gently girl that gets along well with other cats and even dogs. She has experience with children and is best matched with older children. She is litterbox trained, vaccinated, microchipped, had flea treatment applied, and has been sterilized.

Anyone interested in Eevee can submit an application through the "Adoptable Pets" page at cityoflewisville.com. Just click on her picture and follow the unique URL to begin an online adoption application. Once the application has been submitted, Lewisville Animal Services will call the applicant on or before the next business day. While on the phone and if approved, staff will counsel the potential adoption and will schedule an appointment for a visit. Applications will be responded to in the order they are received.
