Ideas Lab explores fundamental rights implications of EU return policy reforms

The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) invited FRA to provide input on the fundamental rights implications of the proposed Return Regulation during its annual flagship event, the 'Ideas Lab'.

The session focused on rethinking returns and externalisation, alternatives to ensure the effectiveness of EU policies.

The invitation-only event took place on 2 March in Brussels. It included representatives from academia, migration NGOs, think-tanks, as well as EU entities and international organisations.
