Delozier: Community Senior Expo, Fall Document Shredding Event Set for Sept. 10

HARRISBURG - Residents of the 88th District are invited to two community events taking place on Thursday, Sept. 10, according to Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R Cumberland). Delozier's office will be an exhibitor at the morning event, a Community Senior Expo hosted by Sen. Dawn Keefer (R Cumberland/York). She will also host the evening event, providing annual fall document shredding service.

Keefer's Community Senior Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the West Shore YMCA, located at 410 Fallowfield Road in Hampden Township. The expo will offer a wide range of resources for older adults, including health information, wellness services and educational opportunities.

Delozier's Fall Document Shredding Event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at the Hampden Township pool parking lot, 5001 Hampden Park Drive in Mechanicsburg. The event provides residents with a secure way to dispose of documents containing sensitive information. Two shredding trucks will be available to help expedite service.

"Ensuring residents of the 88th District have the opportunity to learn more about services and programs for older adults, as well as access to secure document disposal, helps support the well-being and peace of mind of our friends and neighbors," said Delozier. "I appreciate the opportunity to bring these services directly to the community and hope residents will take advantage of both the expo and the shredding event."
