TRAFFIC ALERT: Ramp closures on EB I-70 in Jackson County for lighting work, May 21

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct lighting work resulting in ramp closures on eastbound I-70. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Thursday, May 21 between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

• Crews will CLOSE the ramp on EB I-70 to W 6th Street
• Crews will CLOSE the ramp on NB I-35 to EB I-70

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
