FM Named to Financial Times List of The Americas’ Fastest-Growing Companies

JOHNSTON, R.I., USA, April 2, 2026 - Commercial property insurer FM today announced that the Financial Times has named it one of The Americas' Fastest-Growing Companies of 2026.

The Financial Times list, produced in partnership with Statista and based on revenue growth from 2021-2024, underscores FM's "credibility, strategic value and commitment to driving meaningful, lasting change for clients."

"This recognition reflects the momentum behind FM's strategy and the trust clients place in us as they work to prevent loss and seize new opportunities," said Randy Hodge, chief operating officer of FM. "From the energy transition to the data center boom, we're leading with science, engineering and research to protect the value our clients create."

FM was founded in Rhode Island in 1835. As it approaches its third century in business, the company continues to drive progress and innovation: In 2024, FM formed FM Renewable Energy to guide clients through the energy transition. In 2025, the company launched FM Intellium to help clients capitalize on the opportunities of the artificial intelligence and data center boom. The company is also increasing its investment in loss prevention research, with new science and technology facilities set to open in Norwood, Massachusetts, USA, in 2026 and in Luxembourg in 2027.

Through its mutual company structure, FM shares its success with clients. Over the last three years, FM returned approximately US$4.8 billion in resilience and membership credits to eligible policyholders. FM clients have leveraged those credits to reduce the likelihood of loss at their facilities.
