Farris Supports Women in Law

Farris was once again pleased to serve as a platinum sponsor for the 49^th Annual Women in Law Dinner presented by the Allard Law Women's Caucus on Tuesday, March 10^th. This annual event brings students, faculty, and legal professionals together to recognize the important contributions and progress women have made in the legal community whilst drawing attention to the work that remains to be done. This year's theme, "Well-Being in Law", acknowledged the unique challenges that women in legal careers face, celebrated resilience and sought to foster a community of support. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Justice for Girls, a Vancouver-based charity dedicated to advancing the rights, safety, and well-being of teenage girls, particularly those facing violence, poverty, and systemic discrimination. Representing Farris at the event were Partner, Pam Sheppard, Associate Director of PD & Marketing, Rebecca Levi, and Associates, Sandy Lun, Amy Blandford and Sara Finnegan.
