Lane closures and flagging operations on MO 291 in Jackson County for pavement work, Sept. 25-27

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement repair operations on Missouri Route 291. All work is weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays. See below for traffic modifications.

Thurs., Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. to Fri., Sept. 26 at 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct a flagging operation on MO 291 SB at 108th St.

Fri., Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. to Sat., Sept. 27 at 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on MO 291 NB at Elizabeth St.
  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on MO 291 SB at Missouri Ct (the entrance to MO Ct will be closed).

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
