Interstate Drive Asphalt Pavement Mill & Overlay begins Wednesday

On August 12, 2026, Silver Star Construction Company, Inc. will begin an asphalt pavement maintenance project on Interstate Drive from Rock Creek Road to Mount Williams Drive. This work includes milling and overlaying the existing asphalt pavement and repairing adjacent street approaches as needed. This work will require intermittent lane and access closures in the area. At least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction while this work is completed. This phase of work associated with project is expected to last for a duration of 3 weeks.

This work is a part of larger project that will provide select concrete repairs and asphalt resurfacing on Robinson Street between Loma Drive and Berry Road, and East Interstate Drive from Robinson Street to Rock Creek Road. This larger project is planned to last through the summer, pending any adverse weather conditions. Residents are reminded to adhere to traffic control measures in place and plan extra time when traveling through this work area. Additional updates will be made available as the project moves forward.
