Cupid Made Me Do It: The Undie Run for a Cure
November 7, 2025Cupid's Undie Run (CUR), Fundraiser, Press Release

Every February, when most people are hiding from the cold, thousands run straight into it - by choice. Some wear only their underwear, others opt for tutus or full-blown costumes. It's called Cupid's Undie Run, a nationwide event benefiting the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) that turns a winter day into a celebration of laughter, courage, and half-frozen selfies - all to speed the search for life-changing treatments.
The event funds research into NF (short for neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis) - a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Since it began in 2010, Cupid's has become a fixture on America's Best Fun Runs lists and has raised millions for science that's changing lives.

Cupid's Undie Run is pure fun with so much heart. I know what it's like to face the challenges of NF, and seeing this community show up laughing, running, dancing and yes, freezing - to make a difference - is amazing. The energy, the joy, the sheer ridiculousness of it all - you leave knowing you were part of something unforgettable, and that all that fun is actually fueling real progress.

Back again to boldly support the brave thrillanthropists, MeUndies returns as the national underwear partner. Their signature look meets Cupid's signature spirit - proof that even in the cold, heroes have style.
How It Works
Cupid's Undie Run keeps it simple: raise money for research, run your heart out, and have a great time doing it.
The day starts with music, laughter, and that "are we really doing this?" buzz before everyone takes off for a quick "mile-ish" dash - some in underwear, others in costumes, all in for the cause. Streets come alive with color and spirit as runners make the NF cause impossible to miss.
Then it's back inside for the kind of party only Cupid's can pull off - dancing, celebrating, and a crowd that doesn't want it to end.
What is NF
NF is a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, affecting 1 in 2,000 births, or 4 million people worldwide. NF occurs across all populations and can lead to blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurement, learning challenges, disabling pain, or cancer.
The Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) is the global leader in NF research and drug development. CTF drives progress across every stage of the pipeline - fueling discovery, accelerating trials, and partnering with industry to get treatments to patients faster. Our mission is clear: to end NF.
