DGA Statement on Oregon GOP Primary Results

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Christine Drazan becoming the Republican nominee for governor in Oregon:

"Christine Drazan is a failed candidate whose extreme anti-abortion, MAGA agenda is a dealbreaker for Oregonians. At every turn, Drazan has pushed Trump's dangerous, far-right vision for Oregon - fighting to gut Medicaid and eliminate vote by mail, backing a radical abortion ban, and defending his illegal National Guard deployment on Oregon streets. Oregonians need someone who will fight back against Trump, not someone who's spent years doing his bidding. Drazan is completely wrong for Oregon, and the DGA looks forward to making that even more apparent for voters."
