Warren Statement on Fed Finalizing Changes to Stress Tests

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement on the Federal Reserve finalizing changes to their stress test framework:

"The Federal Reserve just provided big banks with an advance copy of the answers to the annual stress tests implemented after the 2008 financial crisis. Big banks will easily pass the tests with flying colors and reward investors with increased dividends and buybacks, while already-struggling American families are put at greater risk of another financial collapse. The Fed must stop doing the bidding of President Trump's Wall Street donors."
