Aggravated Battery with a Firearm

(PEORIA, IL) On Monday, October 27, 2025, at approximately 3:02 p.m., Peoria Police officers responded to the 2600 block of W. Starr Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert indicating two rounds fired.

Upon arrival, officers located two male juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. One juvenile sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The second juvenile sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, there is no suspect information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
