Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan's Meeting with Greece's Deputy Prime Minister Pavlos Marinakis

On October 24, in Greece, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mkrtchyan met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson of Greece, Pavlos Marinakis.

Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan presented the content of the agreements reached in August in Washington between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, and referred to the regional and global significance of TRIPP, noting that it aligns with the logic of the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative proposed by the Government of Armenia. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to Greece for its unwavering support of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.

He also discussed bilateral relations between Armenia and Greece, highlighting the ongoing active dialogue in the fields of education, science, culture, and defense, and emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level reciprocal visits.

Pavlos Marinakis expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between the two countries, including within international platforms. He underlined the importance of the agreements reached in Washington and expressed hope for their prompt implementation, while also commending the Armenian Government's commitment to successfully carrying out reforms in Armenia.
