The County of Maui Volunteer Center, HandsOn Maui, invites nonprofit leaders and volunteer managers across Maui County to a free, virtual workshop titled, "Recruit, Retain, Repeat: AI Tools for Volunteer Success," on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. via Zoom.
This beginner-friendly session, led by Miller Media Management founder Danielle Miller, will introduce nonprofits to the power of artificial intelligence (AI) tools ChatGPT, Canva Magic Studio and custom Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs) to strengthen volunteer engagement and streamline marketing tasks.
Space is limited to 25 participants; reserve a spot by going to County of Maui Department of Human Concerns, https://mauicounty.gov/humanconcerns and clicking on "Volunteer Center."
This practical workshop is designed for nonprofit professionals of all experience levels - especially those new to AI. Participants will learn:
● Beginner: Discover how to use ChatGPT and Canva Magic Studio to create engaging, on-brand messages, emails and social media posts.
● Intermediate: Understand how to integrate AI into standard operating procedures for consistent communications and faster volunteer onboarding.
● All: See how building a GPT tailored to your nonprofit can help volunteers and staff create content that stays true to your brand - no matter who's helping.
Participants will leave the training with actionable tools to save time, improve communication and strengthen volunteer impact.
As an educator and digital strategist, Miller has helped hundreds of Hawaiʻi-based organizations and nonprofits use technology to communicate more effectively and build community engagement.
