DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque's Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present a Faculty Recital at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center.

UD's music and theatre faculty will present a variety of solo and ensemble performances including organ, instrumental, vocal, and dramatic works.
Among the pieces shared during the recital will be the first movement of Francis Poulenc's Sonata for Flute and Piano performed by flutist Hannah Eby, adjunct professor of music, and pianist Kristen Eby, MM, head of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, director of choral activities, and associate professor of music. David Maxwell's Voluntary for Trumpet and Organ will fill the hall when played by trumpeter Dan Norman, adjunct instructor of music, and organist Charles Barland, DMA, university organist and professor of music.
Kristen Eby and Jill Klinebriel, adjunct professor of music, will take the stage to perform a piano duet of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos, K448. Additionally, Joe Klinebriel, MFA, professor of theatre, will sing "There is a Sucker Born Every Minute" from the musical Barnum.
The Faculty Recital will feature additional performances from faculty.
The event is free and open to the public. No ticket is required.
