High-performing applicants attend Open Day at National Defense University

On July 18, an Open Day was held at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute and Nakhchivan Military College, both under the National Defense University (NDU).
At the outset, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, the applicants were wished success in their future academic pursuits. During the event, top-scoring applicants seeking to pursue military education abroad, their parents, and media representatives were provided with comprehensive information on the admission procedures, selection stages, educational and living conditions available to cadets.
It was noted that applicants who achieve outstanding results in the admission examinations are eligible, under the NDU's international military education cooperation program, to pursue higher military education at prestigious military educational institutions in countries such as Türkiye, Germany, Italy, the Republic of Korea, and China, with all expenses fully covered by the state.
As part of the Open Day, participants received a comprehensive briefing on the National Defense University. The briefing covered the University's history, its specialized educational institutions, academic programs, material and technical infrastructure, as well as ongoing efforts to further develop the military education system.
At the conclusion of the event, participants' questions were answered, while media representatives were provided with the opportunity to interview applicants and conduct photo and video coverage.
