The Belarusian Military Delegation Continues Its Working Visit to the UAE

During the next day of the DIMDEX-2026 exhibition, talks were held between Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Pavel Muraveyko, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.

Following the meeting, priority areas and possible steps for the further development of bilateral military cooperation were identified.

Taking into account the warm and mutually respectful relations established between the leadership of the two countries, as well as the constructive nature of the intergovernmental dialogue, the parties noted the significant prospects for bilateral cooperation, including in the military sphere.

On the sidelines of the DIMDEX-2026 exhibition, a working meeting was held between Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Pavel Muraveyko and Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant General Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai.

The parties exchanged impressions of the advanced technologies and the latest weapons systems presented at the exhibition, and also discussed current issues in bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on key issues of international and regional security.
