Miya Hannan's "Certainty" is on display now as part of the "Notions of Erasure: United by Territory" exhibit in Bristlecone Gallery.
What's remembered - and what's erased?
"Notions of Erasure: United by Territory," a traveling exhibition presented by the Nevada Arts Council, brings together six Nevada artists whose works reflect on history, identity and the forces that shape who is seen and heard.
Participating artists include Jeffrey Burden of Las Vegas, Glynn Cartledge of Reno, Gig Depio of Las Vegas, Miya Hannan of Reno, Brent Holmes of Las Vegas and Bobbie Ann Howell of Las Vegas.
This powerful and reflective art exhibit is now on display in the Bristlecone Gallery on Western Nevada College's Carson City campus.
The gallery is open weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This exhibit can be viewed through Feb. 12.
