The announcement arrives on the heels of RAEGAN's explosive growth since the EP's title track, RAEGAN CORE , burst onto the scene. Most recently, the fifth installment of the RAEGAN CORE story, CRYING IS A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND (Spotify Fresh Finds Pop, Apple New in Pop, VEVO Incoming Pop & more , has continued that momentum. Luna Collective described the track as one that "...is beautifully wrapped in cinematic strings, burlesque glamour and Disney-princess-level drama and touches on one theme: the idea that when everything else falls away, you're still left with yourself. Underneath all the theatricality is a vulnerable message of self-comfort, resilience and emotional honesty."
Most recently, she delivered a striking rendition of SZA's "Kill Bill" for GRAMMY.com and was included in HIT's Q2 New & Developing Artists roundup alongside Miles Caton, Julia Wolf, Suki Waterhouse, CMAT, and others. With more than 2 million video views and over 4 million global streams to date, she has quickly established herself as a rising force, co-writing with Bonnie McKee, performing alongside Brian Newman (Lady Gaga's longtime trumpeter and bandleader), and earning praise from Billboard, which noted: "Looking for a confidence boost? Alt-pop artist RAEGAN has got you covered."
On her upcoming EP RAEGAN CORE, RAEGAN crafts a love letter to outsiders, theater kids, and anyone who's ever been told to tone it down, only to turn it up louder. Marking the continuation of her boldest chapter yet, the project fuses the grandiosity of musical theatre with forward-thinking pop production and raw, unfiltered emotion, solidifying her place as a pioneer in the emerging theatre-pop space.
