The City of Reno invites the community to celebrate the season at the Ward 4 Fall Festival, hosted by Ward 4 Reno City Councilmember Meghan Ebert. The free, family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dorothy McAlinden Park, located at 14000 Stead Blvd. in Reno.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of fall-themed activities, including pumpkin decorating, games, and delicious treats from La Victoria Coffee, NOLA Sliders, and Taqueria Villegas. The first 100 attendees will also receive food tickets. Local organizations including SAVE, Reno Food Systems, Nevada 211, and the Senior Resident Advisory Board will be on-site to share valuable resources and programs. The City's Parks and Recreation Department will feature its Rolling Recreation Center, offering yard games, sports balls, table games, and arts and crafts, while staff provide information about recreation opportunities and community resources.
The festival is designed to bring neighbors together in a welcoming environment that highlights the beauty of the autumn season.
"This event is a wonderful opportunity for families and friends in Ward 4 and beyond to connect with one another and enjoy the festive spirit of fall," said Councilmember Ebert. "I encourage everyone to come out, have fun, and celebrate our community."
