Colorado Springs Airport Ranked No. 8 in USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards

Colorado Springs Airport (COS) has been ranked No. 8 in the nation in the 2026 USA TODAY 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards for Best Small Airport, earning national recognition through public voting.

Nominees were selected by a panel of subject matter experts and USA TODAY 10BEST editors, with the public determining the final top 10 rankings. The results were announced October 14.

"This recognition reflects the pride our community has in the Colorado Springs Airport and the dedication of the people who make traveling through COS easy and welcoming," said Alex Kovacs, Director of Aviation for Colorado Springs Airport. "We are grateful to our travelers, community partners and businesses for their support, and to our employees, airlines, concessionaires and airport partners who bring our Travel Easy promise to life every day."
