Welcome to APNIC 60

Xin chào và chào mừng. APNIC welcomes you to Da Nang, Viet Nam for APNIC 60 with thanks to the local host, the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), and all the sponsors for supporting the event. Here's what you can look forward to over the coming days.

Program highlights

The program has plenty of great content, including four technical sessions, two FIRST/APNIC security sessions, an IPv6 deployment session, a 'Diversity as critical infrastructure' panel session, two BoF sessions, and meetings of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs). There are also tutorials on mastering network threat detection and defence and network automation with SALT available to extend your learning.

Don't miss the Opening Ceremony, which features keynote speakers Leslie Daigle, Chief Technical Officer of Global Cyber Alliance, who will talk about 'Strengthening Internet integrity: Collaborative solutions for cybersecurity challenges' and Vu The Binh, Vice President and Secretary General at the Vietnam Internet Association, who will discuss 'Modernizing the Internet of Vietnam with cloud computing, data centres, CDNs and IPv6-only'.

To close the conference, René Fichtmüller, APAC Evangelical Optician at Flexoptix, will speak on 'Mental health and workplace culture: A personal perspective'.

There will be plenty of opportunities to network at APNIC 60 at the Welcome Social, the Meet the EC event, and the Closing Social, as well as opportunities to meet your peers throughout the conference.

Cast your vote

Online voting for the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) closes on Thursday, 11 September 2025 at 14:30 (UTC +7). Online voting is available to both APNIC Members and APNIC 60 conference attendees who meet the voting eligibility criteria.

Participate in the Open Policy Meeting

The Open Policy Meeting (OPM) at APNIC 60 will be held on Thursday, 11 September 2025. There are five proposals up for discussion.

• prop-162 : WHOIS Privacy
• prop-164: Allocations of IPv6 Resources longer than a /32 with a nibble boundary alignment
• prop-165: Provision of IPv4 Address Space to IPv6-only Networks for Transitional Purpose
• prop-166: Revocation of Persistently Non-functional RPKI Certification Authorities
• prop-167: Published Statistics on Directory Service Usage
