REMINDER: Buchanan County Route AC bridge to close Sept. 14 - 18

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Buchanan County Route AC (Riverside Road) bridge over U.S. Route 36 in St. Joseph is scheduled to close Monday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 18. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will be repairing the bridge deck.

Traffic Impacts: The Route AC bridge will be closed around the clock Sept. 14-18. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closure. Access to Pickett Road from Route AC is currently closed by the City of St. Joseph.

A project to replace the bridge is currently scheduled for 2027 in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). More information on this, and other planned projects, can be found at: https://www.modot.org/statewide-transportation-improvement-program-stip.
