Village Toy Drive: An Annual Tradition of Joy for Kids at the Mission

Every December, VOA Colorado's Village Toy Drive brings our community together to brighten the season for the children we serve, and this year's celebration was one of the most joyful yet. What begins with weeks of collecting, sorting, and wrapping gifts culminates in a heartwarming day when kids at the Mission receive toys chosen just for them.

Led with incredible dedication by Michelle Gruber and supported by our partners at First American State Bank, this beloved annual tradition ensures that children who might otherwise go without experience a moment of pure holiday magic. Wrapping parties buzzed with energy and were filled with wide smiles, excited laughter, and the kind of wonder every child deserves.

For families facing homelessness and hardship, these gifts are more than presents; they are reminders that their children are valued, supported, and surrounded by a caring community.
