Traffic signal maintenance impacts at 97 Avenue and 116 Street

As part of the City's 2026 Traffic Signal Maintenance Program, the intersection of 97 Avenue and 116 Street will operate as a four-way stop beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 19.

Lane reductions will be in place while crews complete the work. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the intersection where possible and use alternate routes.

The work is scheduled outside peak traffic periods to help reduce impacts to drivers and is expected to be complete by early afternoon, when regular traffic signal operations will resume.

Drivers are reminded to obey signage and use caution through the intersection.
