• JLL Capital Markets arranged the $83.25 million sale of Airpark Plaza, a 171,443-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center in Miami, marking the largest suburban Publix-anchored sale in Miami-Dade County in the last 20 years
• First Washington Realty sold the fully leased property
• The infill asset features exceptional regional connectivity to major thoroughfares and sits adjacent to the 3.5-million-square-foot Waterford Business District with immediate proximity to Miami International Airport
MIAMI, Oct. 12, 2026 - JLL Capital Markets announced today the $83.25 million sale of Airpark Plaza, a 171,443-square-foot Publix and Burlington anchored shopping center located at 5715 NW Seventh St. in Miami.
JLL represented the seller, First Washington Realty, in the transaction.
Built in 1971 and renovated in 2005, the fully leased property spans 12.6 acres and is anchored by Publix and Burlington. Other established national and local retailers include First Watch, Truist Bank, Subway, Wingstop, TD Bank and Burger King.
Airpark Plaza occupies a strategically superior position within Miami's retail landscape with immediate access to the Dolphin Expressway, Palmetto Expressway and Interstate 95. The property sits at the hard corner of Northwest 57th Avenue and Northwest Seventh Street with combined traffic counts of 68,000 vehicles per day. The center is adjacent to the Waterford Business District, which contains more than 3.5 million square feet of Class A office space, and Miami International Airport.
The transaction marks the largest suburban Publix-anchored shopping center sale in Miami-Dade County in nearly 20 years, underscoring the extreme scarcity of institutional-quality grocery-anchored retail in South Florida.
The JLL Capital Markets team was led by Executive Managing Director Danny Finkle, Senior Director Jorge Portela, Vice President Kim Flores and Associate Evan Lahr.
"Airpark Plaza is the definition of a generational retail asset - a fully leased, anchor-driven center in Miami's most active commercial corridor," said Finkle.
"The combination of tenured tenancy, sales performance and future income growth potential created an exceptional opportunity and drove strong investor interest in the offering," Portela added.
