On 15 September 2025, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, together with Ms. Pittara Navarat, Minister Counsellor, and Ms. Patlapa Thipraksa, Interpreter and Cultural Affairs Coordinator, met with 15 Thai postgraduate students from Lund University and Malmö University in the cities of Lund and Malmö.
The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Ambassador shared about the purpose of her visit to Malmö, which included presenting certification for 4th batch of the participants of Nuad Thai Nordic (NTN) project, as well as having a discussion with Executive Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) on cooperation between Thailand and the Institute.
This meeting provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to learn more about the students' well-being and to exchange views on their experiences in Sweden, while also sharing the mission of the Royal Thai Embassy. In turn, the students exchanged valuable insights, and perspectives gained from living and studying abroad.
The discussion was constructive and engaging, offering the students an open platform to express their opinions freely. It was also a meaningful occasion to further strengthen the close ties between the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai student community in Sweden.
