Friday Night Lane Closures on SR 13/Buford Spring Conn/Buford Hwy for Resurfacing
METRO ATLANTA -Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will install lane closures this weekend to begin a resurfacing project on State Route 13/Buford Spring Connector/Buford Highway (SR 13) between State Route 9/Peachtree Street NE (SR 9) in Brookwood and North Fork Peachtree Creek in the Lindbergh area, Fulton County. This project is designed to improve the roadway's deteriorating condition with milling, inlay and asphalt resurfacing.

Weather and on-site conditions permitting, crews will close one left lane on SR 13 southbound from SR 9/Peachtree Street NE to Shady Valley Drive from 9 p.m. on Friday,
October 24 until 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

These lane closures help ensure safety for workers and drivers through the area as crews mill and inlay the roadway in preparation for resurfacing the deteriorating roadway. This $4.3 M project is scheduled for completion in late fall 2025.

Motorists are advised to expect some traffic delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
