Bercman Technologies AS (hereinafter "Bercman") announces changes to the working arrangements at its subsidiary Krakul OÜ (hereinafter "Krakul" or "subsidiary"). The changes include reducing the scale of the engineering services business and transitioning to a project-based operating model.
The Management Board of Krakul, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bercman, has decided to reduce the scale of its engineering and product development services and to transition from a permanent in-house team to an agency model. As part of this change, the subsidiary's permanent positions will be made redundant. The subsidiary will continue to provide services on a project basis, engaging specialists and partners according to the requirements of each assignment and the terms of the relevant agreements.
The change has become necessary because, following the completion of major projects, new orders have not been received in sufficient volume to cover the costs of the existing permanent team. The business line has been loss-making since the second quarter of 2026. In management's assessment, a project-based operating model will enable costs to be aligned more closely with actual order volumes.
Going forward, engineering services will be provided on a project basis, engaging specialists and partners under service agreements. The new operating model will enable the continued application of product development experience accumulated over the years to client projects. The transition to the new operating model is scheduled to take place in November and December 2026. Employees have been informed of the timetable and working arrangements.
Bercman is a technology company listed on Nasdaq First North, specialising in development services, creation of proprietary products, and provision of comprehensive technology systems. The Bercman Group consists of the subsidiaries Bercman Energy OÜ and Krakul OÜ. Bercman.com
