Chinese Embassy in India Holds a Reception to Celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On Sept 23th, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in India held a reception to solemnly celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. H.E. Mr. Chatterjee, secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, together with representatives from Indian government, political parties, enterprises, think tanks, media, diplomatic missions as well as overseas Chinese, Chinese enterprises and students attended the reception.

Ambassador Xu Feihong pointed out at his speech that, over the past 76 years, the Communist Party of China has continuously strengthened and improved itself with the courage of self-reform, united and led the Chinese people to achieve a great transformation from standing up and growing prosperous to becoming strong, and embarked on a new journey to advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through Chinese modernization. Over the past 76 years, China has demonstrated our sense of responsibility as a major country through concrete actions, provided China's wisdom and solution to address the global governance deficit, and made important contributions to world peace and development.

Ambassador Xu indicated that, over the past 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India, despite the ups and downs, the bilateral relationship is overwhelmingly defined by friendly cooperation. Recently, President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a successful meeting in Tianjin, which leads China-India relations to a new level of improvement. The Chinese side stands ready to work with the Indian side to follow the guidance of the important common understandings between our two leaders, uphold a strategic perspective, expand friendly cooperation, maintain dialogue and communication, strengthen multilateral coordination, so as to advance China-India relations on the track of sound and stable development.

The guests enjoyed the wonderful performances, and the event was permeated with a warm and cordial atmosphere.
