Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomes U.S.-ASEAN Business Council delegation

On 12 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with U.S. - ASEAN Business Council (USABC) delegation during the delegation's annual business mission to Thailand between 11 - 13 November 2025.

Both sides exchanged views on ways to further deepen cooperation on issues of mutual interest, particularly on enhancing Thailand's potential as a hub for food security, tourism, medical services, logistics, aviation, and digital economy. The U.S. private sector reiterated its commitment and readiness to work with Thailand in advancing the longstanding and mutually rewarding economic partnership between Thailand and the U.S. The meeting was attended by executives from 39 USABC company members from various sectors, such as Abbott, Amazon, American Express, Apple, Bayer, Boeing, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Cheniere Energy, FedEx, Google, Microsoft, Marriott, Philip Morris, Reckitt, SC Johnson, and Viatris.

Afterwards, the Foreign Minister hosted a welcoming reception for the delegation with the participation of executives of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, the Federation of Thai Industries, and the Thai Bankers' Association.
