Billy Ray Cyrus Reportedly Engaged To Elizabeth Hurley

Billy Ray Cyrus is reportedly engaged to girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley after more than a year of dating.

Rumors about an engagement have emerged on social media since Hurley posted a photo wearing a ring on her left hand. Cyrus wrote in an Instagram caption ahead of a performance in Phoenix, Arizona, "kinda has a ring to it." In her most recent Instagram post, Hurley posed on the beach in Malibu wearing a white bikini. Page Sixwas first to report over the weekend that the "Achy Breaky Heart" star and the actress were engaged, citing unnamed sources; however, neither Cyrus nor Hurley have publicly addressed the engagement reports as of publication time on Monday morning (October 19).

Cyrus, 65, and Hurley, 61, publicly confirmed their relationship for the first time when they posted a flirty photo together on Easter in April 2025. They met in 2022 while filming Christmas in Paradise, and began talking again about two years later. Hurley contacted the country artist to offer support while he was going through a difficult time, including his divorce from ex-wife FIREROSE, 37, after less than a year of marriage. Cyrus was previously married to Tish Cyrus, 59, from 1993 to 2022. He adopted her eldest two children, Brandi Cyrus, 39, and Trace Cyrus, 37, when he married Tish. He and Tish share Miley Cyrus, 33, Braison Cyrus, 32, and Noah Cyrus, 26. Cyrus is also a father to son Christopher Cody, 34, from a previous relationship. Hurley welcomed son Damien Hurley, 24, with late businessman and film producer Steve Bing. She was previously married to Arun Nayar, 61, from 2007 to 2011.

Hurley previously told PEOPLE, "family really matters." She appreciates that Cyrus and her son "get on so well... I've really enjoyed starting to get to know some of his kids, too. He's been so happy making this new album with Braison and Noah, and it was a huge treat being on the set with him when he shot the Hannah Montana [20th] anniversary special with Miley."

In a separate interview with PEOPLE earlier this year, Cyrus said, "I do feel at this moment a calm and a peace of mind of knowing that I'm on the right path-and certainly love feels good. I can't give enough credit to what Elizabeth has brought to my life."

Hurley said during a recent appearance on SheerLuxe that she and Cyrus seem like an "unlikely pairing in some ways," but they're "We've both lived out of suitcases our entire life." She joked that they're "like twins" because "we have the same hair." She added, "We've both lived out of suitcases our entire life. And we both also a long time ago moved out of the cities. He's got a farm in Tennessee, I've got one here in Herefordshire, and neither of us really go out much unless we have to 'cause it's work. So there are a lot more similarities than you'd think. …There are differences. But because we both like sort of snuggling up, we're actually quite similar."
