mybwebpro(.)com: Bafin warns consumers about website

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bafin) warns consumers about the company Bwebpro Bank and the services it is offering. Bafin suspects the unknown operators of using the website mybwebpro(.)com to offer loans to consumers and thus conduct banking business without the required authorisation. The operators of the website sometimes also refer to themselves as Kosbou Finance.

Anyone conducting banking business in Germany may do so only with authorisation from Bafin. However, some companies conduct such business without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been granted authorisation by Bafin can be found in Bafin's database of companies.

Bafin is issuing this warning on the basis of section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (KWG).
