Milling and Resurfacing on Route 15 North and Southbound in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 15 north and southbound in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, April 19 and be completed on May 1, 2026. The project DOT1730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.35-mile segment of Route 15 north and south bound in Milford from the Milford and Orange Town line to exit 36. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Waters Construction on Sunday, April 19 to Friday, May 1, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by Waters Construction is anticipated to begin on Sunday April 19 to Friday May 1, 2026.
This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 15 north and southbound from the Milford/Orange town line to Exit 36 in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday to Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
