The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide initiative showcasing the creativity and talent of high school students. Students from across Congressman Ciscomani's district submitted an impressive array of artwork highlighting their diverse interests and talent.

The second-place artwork will be displayed in the Congressman's Washington, D.C. office in 461 Cannon House Office Building, and the third-place artwork will be displayed in the Congressman's Tucson District office.

Ellen Kim from Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson won the second-place award for her piece, 'The Reality Behind a Smile.' Third place went to Samson Riesgo from St. David High School in St. David, for his piece, 'I Believe.'

As part of the recognition, Eyah Prior will have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where she will see her award-winning artwork on display in the U.S. Capitol.

"Each year, I am proud to recognize talented and creative students from Arizona's Sixth District who participate in the Congressional Art Competition," said Rep. Ciscomani.
