Jeremy Allen White on Having a Stomach Bug Before Shooting His Calvin Klein Ad

Drew: When you're showing up to that shoot, what's the prep?
Jeremy: You know what, I got, I had a stomach bug.
Drew: How convenient.
Jeremy: Yeah, that's right, like 3 days before, and so I just drank a lot of water. And then I showed up. And that's the truth. And then I ate so much Chinese food when I was done because we were shooting it in Chinatown here.
Drew: You deserve all of that MSG after that shoot, and I mean, do you remember the famous line from 'Devil Wears Prada' when she says, 'I'm just a stomach flew away from my goal weight?'
Jeremy: That's right, yeah, I just watched that with my daughters for the first time, the first 'Devil Wears Prada.' They haven't seen it, they're 7 and 5, and I was amazed like how well it stood up. It was really so much fun.
Aaron Sorkin on Early Odd Jobs in New York and Writing "A Few Good Men" on Cocktail Napkins

Drew: Wait, you had a lot of jobs before you were an Academy Award - I mean, you, Mr. Sorkin, are the man in this industry that if someone said he is writing a script, everyone goes.
Jeremy: Yeah, how long does it take? Yeah, if you write a script.
Aaron: A long time.
Drew: I mean you wrote 'A Few Good Men.'
Aaron: I wrote it when I came to New York after college, you know, I had, like every struggling artist who comes to New York you have a lot of, survival jobs. I dressed up as a moose in Times Square and handed out leaflets. I delivered singing telegrams. But one of my main jobs was bartending at Broadway theaters, and I wrote 'A Few Good Men' on cocktail napkins while bartending at the Palace Theater for La Cage aux Folles.
Drew: By the way, during La Cage aux Folles.
Aaron: During the first act of the show, there, there isn't much to do, so I just kind of found a quiet place and, and was writing this and I'd come home, my pockets stuffed with cocktail napkins, spill that out, out on my desk. My roommates and I had gone in on what was then just called the Macintosh, And it was, it had 128K of memory, which if today, if you buy a birthday card that sings, that birthday card has more memory than this computer had, but still we thought it was the greatest thing ever.
Jeremy on His Love For Carrie Bradshaw and Mikey on Being a Charlotte

Drew: OK, we mentioned 'Devil Wears Prada' but another thing that is having such a renaissance now with this new generation is 'Sex and the City.' If you were a 'Sex and the City' character, male or female, who would you be? And it could be because you love them or because you're like them, either one.
Jeremy: I love Carrie Bradshaw. I'm like, I'm in love with Carrie Bradshaw, is there a right or wrong? I don't know who I would be, it's hard. I mean, I wanna say Carrie, but is that like obnoxious? Is that like egotistical to wanna be the narrator of the story?
Drew: No. What about you? Who do you like?
Mikey: I like want to be Carrie, and I think I aspire to be Carrie, but I am Charlotte. I just know that about myself.
Drew: And what makes you a Charlotte?
Mikey: I think that I am very optimistic and so I'm a Charlotte. I think also like I tend to be a bit controlling in some ways, maybe a little bit like I don't want to say rigid because I say that with love because I love Charlotte, but also, yes, I think I can relate to that a little.
