WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Jim Risch, senior member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, announced the selection of Survival Garden Seeds in Rigby as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for January 2026. Survival Garden Seeds will be recognized for its contribution to Idaho in the Congressional Record of the U.S. Senate.
"Survival Garden Seeds is a great example of how Idaho small businesses not only make our communities strong but support our economy and supply chains," said Risch. "Inspired by the Victory Garden movement, Jason and Arianne Spahr are helping people across the U.S. become more self-reliant through gardening."
Idaho is consistently ranked as one of the best places in the country to do business. Each month, Senator Risch selects an Idaho small business that exemplifies the Idaho values of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional commitment to community.
