Officers were advised the suspect had left the area on foot and was last seen running eastbound. When officers arrived, they located and safely detained a male suspect who was running in the area while carrying a large bowie knife.
Officers immediately began investigating the reported shooting and located a handgun inside the trailer, along with evidence of recently used methamphetamine. Officers also found multiple firearm cartridge casings and evidence indicating rounds had been fired from inside the trailer, including exit holes in the front of the residence.
