Daytime connector ramp closure on southbound Interstate 680 to southbound/northbound U.S. 101 in San Jose

Ramp closure scheduled from 7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct.3

Santa Clara County - A daytime connector ramp closure will be in place on southbound Interstate 680 at the northbound and southbound U.S. 101 connector ramp in the city of San Jose on Saturday, Oct. 3.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public and crews, the connector ramps from southbound I-680 to northbound/southbound U.S. 101 will be closed to allow maintenance crews to conduct vegetation management, clearing storm drains and and other maintenance work in preparation for the upcoming rainy season.

The SB I-680 connector ramp closure will be in place starting:
Southbound I-680 at northbound U.S. 101 at 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Southbound I-680 at southbound U.S. 101 at 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be on site to provide traffic control. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. All work is weather dependent.

Please drive with caution through the construction zone, leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you.
