Public Meeting Announcement – International St. Croix River Watershed Board

The International St. Croix River Watershed Board (ISCRWB) will host a public meeting at the Washington County Community College in Calais, Maine, on Wednesday May 27 at 6:00 pm EST (7:00 pm AST) to update the public on its activities.

The ISCRWB monitors the International Joint Commission (IJC) Orders of Approval for water levels and flows at the Grand Falls, Vanceboro, and Forest City dams on the St. Croix River, and monitors water quality conditions to ensure they meet IJC objectives.

This meeting will include an overview of the ISCRWB, its mandate, and recent activities. Updates on the St. Croix water conditions in 2025-2026 and on notable projects in the watershed, such as the new fish passageway at Woodland and the formation and activities of a new Water Quality Subcommittee will also be provided. All are welcome to join the meeting and learn about the ISCRWB's work, and to ask questions about water resources in the St. Croix River watershed.

No registration is required for in-person participation. You may register on MS Teams to participate in the meeting virtually.
