Wanted, Convicted Felon Arrested Monday On Outstanding Warrants

TITANS Unit detectives arrested wanted, convicted felon Jaderius Terrell, 28, on Monday on Gallatin Pike North for outstanding warrants related to an August domestic violence incident.

Terrell, convicted of attempted second-degree murder in 2016, was sought after he punched his 11-year-old son and pointed a handgun at his son's mother. He then fled from responding North Precinct officers as they attempted to pursue him.

He was charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, being a felon in possession of a weapon and evading arrest.

Terrell was taken into custody by detectives on Monday morning after he tried to run then resisted arrest. He had a stolen handgun on him at the time of the arrest. The gun was taken in March from a woman's house on Oakwood Avenue during an aggravated stalking incident, for which Terrell was charged. Those charges were dismissed.

Detectives also recovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia from inside Terrell's vehicle.

Terrell was charged Monday with evading and resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license, misdemeanor and felony weapon possession, marijuana possession, theft of a firearm and drug paraphernalia, in addition to his outstanding warrants. He remains jailed this afternoon on $110,000 bond. Federal gun charges against Terrell are anticipated.
